FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. — Hyundai Motor America is now listing certified pre-owned Hyundais for sales among the used car listings at Carfax.com. Car shoppers can choose to see only Hyundai CPO vehicles in their search results and are ensured a free Carfax report with every certified Hyundai. Potential buyers are then connected with the Hyundai dealer directly from the vehicle listing, which helps accelerate the buying process, according to the companies.

“Our certified program has grown significantly since its inception,” said Jose Froehlich, senior manager of certified pre-owned at Hyundai Motor America. “Continuing that trend means being on the shopping and research sites people turn to most when shopping for pre-owned cars, and that’s Carfax.com. This is an excellent opportunity to expand our relationship with Carfax and place Hyundai CPO vehicles in front of ready-to-buy shoppers.”

Visitors to Carfax.com typically buy a car within seven days. Carfax.com is the only place where consumers can start their search for cars using Carfax vehicle history attributes and get a free Carfax Report for every car listed. Shoppers see vehicles that match their search criteria, along with Carfax vehicle history-based pricing that indicates a “Great,” “Good” or “Fair” value compared to the list price.

“We work hard to deliver maximum value to Hyundai and all the members of our CPO family,” said Joe Koenig, vice president of Carfax. “Carfax is uniquely positioned to give car buyers and sellers a trusted place to connect and build confidence to buy. Certified vehicles are an increasingly popular option for consumers and we’re excited to help drive more of them to Hyundai dealerships.”

For dealer-owned reinsurance entities, avoiding volatility entirely can mean falling behind inflation and missing market rebounds that drive long term surplus growth.
