NEW ORLEANS — Organizers of Industry Summit will once again offer ACE’s Automotive Compliance Specialist certification. This year’s event will be held Nov. 4–6 at the New Orleans Marriott, with the ACE review and exam set for Monday, Nov. 4.

“ACE is pleased to again be invited to offer our certification program to Industry Summit attendees,” said Gil Van Over, executive director of ACE. “The Automotive Compliance Specialist certification is well-tailored for the needs of most attendees: It gives a thorough, yet high-level overview of the major legal themes that impact the F&I industry, both at the dealership and TPA level.”

ACE certification is open to all attendees including auto dealers and dealership personnel as well as agents, auto finance executives, and F&I product providers and administrators. Automotive Compliance Specialist certification was designed in part to inform conversations among dealers and agents concerning the structure and execution of necessary compliance practices.

“Those who complete the certification will leave with an awareness of the issues that impact the industry so they can spot potential land mines without being expected to defuse them,” Van Over added.

To earn ACE certification, Industry Summit attendees must be present for the exam that will begin promptly at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 4, and earn a passing grade. Those who succeed will get a framed diploma and opportunities to renew their certification on an annual basis.

More information about Industry Summit 2019 can be found at the event’s website. To discuss sponsorship and exhibition opportunities, contact David Gesualdo via email or at 727-947-4027.

Attendees who register by Oct. 4 will receive the $100 discounted rate. The first 100 active auto dealers and dealership general managers who register for this year’s event online with promo code F&I100 will receive their full show pass for no charge.
